Haunted Mill

The Vanderpool Haunted Mill retruns after a 3-year hiatus for a limited time only. It will open its gates for one weekend. Friday, Octocber 23rd and Saturday, October 24th from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. nightly.

Visitors will be treated to an eerie new theme and cast of characters led by Winnie Mae Vanderpool, proprietress of the Vanderpool Boarding House.

Winnie Mae’s unfaithful husband and his “lady friend” met an unfortunate end. Their bodies were never found – no one thought to look in the family graveyard located behind the Vanderpool home.

Her money had been squandered by her husband and Winnie Mae found herself in dier financial straits. She decided to open a boarding house in order to support herself.

Over the years many boarders came to stay with Miss Winnie Mae but few of them ever left – alive. It seems she had developed a taste for killing and even saved a little souvenir from her dead boarders, the beds from their rooms with which she constructed a fence all around the house.

All good things must come to an end and Winnie Mae was eventually caught and sent to an insane asylum where she died.

Now the spirit of Winnie Mae as well as those of her many victims roams the grounds of the Vanderpool Boarding House.

Did you want a room? Pay no mind to the other boarders. They won’t disturb you, they are all dead.

We can’t promise you will have a good night’s sleep, but we can promise you will have a screaming good time.
